In this website you will find information about my professional and research career.
I am an experienced software architect and a enthusiastic security researcher. I have worked at Avanti Communications Ltd in London, United Kingdom for 2 years and 8 months as the leader of the software engineering team. This team was part of the Operations segment of the company that aims to launch its first satellite in 2010.
I graduated in Information Systems at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in October 2005, Brazil. In September 2008, I concluded my Masters Degree in Computer Science. For 3 and a half years I have worked and researched at LabSEC, Computer Security Lab. There I joint two of the lab's flagship projects: João de Barro and ICPEDU Projects. The main technologies involved in these projects were: Hardware Security Module (HSM), OpenHSM, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Cryptography, OpenSSL Library, Smartcards, Share Secret (Shamir's algorithm, ...), C and C++ Language, Security Protocols and others.
